Day 1
Fly from your departure airport and transfer to the Senhora da Rosa hotel where you will stay for 7 nights.
Day 2 Whale watching.
Enjoy the wonders of dolphin and whale watching. Transfer to the harbour where you will enjoy a short informative talk about the marine life around the Azores, then board the boat for your exciting whale watching tour. Don't forget to wear shoes with a rubber sole, a waterproof bag if you intend to take a camera or phone and a waterproof jacket. Stay at the Senhora da Rosa hotel.
Day 3 Jeep Tour Sete Cidades.
This half day jeep tour gives you the opportunity to visit the magnificent Sete Cidades, this breath taking view is worth the visit. On this tour you will be able to see the massive volcanic crater 3 miles across and visit the quaint town below. Take time to explore this unique area and don't forget your camera.
Day 4 Walking tour Ponta Delgada.
Half day walking tour of Ponta Delgada. Take in the historic sights and sounds of this wonderful old town. We start the city tour walking along the main avenue up until Mercado da Graça where we can find regional products, from pineapple to cheese. Then we continue to the city centre where we will discover monuments and their history, which characterize our city and people.
Day 5 Free time.
Enjoy your time in this wonderful spa hotel. Relax and book a spa treatment or return to Ponta Delgada for a bit more shopping!
Day 6 Furnas lake jeep tour.
Spend the day exploring the famous area of Furnas. Here you will witness rising steam fumaroles, bubbling hot water and thermal baths all part of the amazing geothermal activity. Experience bathing in these thermal waters ** and don't forget your lunch is included.
Day 7 Relax.
Spend the day relaxing before you fly home, if you would like to book a different tour this can be arranged.
Day 8 Fly home.
Depart from your hotel and fly home.
