Details
The hiking route starts on a dirt track that goes up through the forest. The trail then continues along a levada (about 2 kms) until reaching a wider area, with large slopes on both sides to the edge of Lagoa do Fogo.
During the climb we will have the chance to see Vila Franca do Campo and its islet. The stop for lunch is made along the banks of the Lagoon.
We return to the starting point through a trail that runs through an area covered with endemic vegetation, flowing into a pasture area, as we lower in altitude.
