The tour, starting in Ponta Delgada, continues towards the North Coast, going up to Monte Escuro, in the central zone of the island. Before Furnas, a mandatory stop at the Gorreana tea plantation, the oldest on our island. Before descending to the Furnas Valley, we have the opportunity to stop at Pico do Ferro, to admire the magnificent view over the valley and the lake. Before lunch, we still have time to see the withdrawal of the famous Cozido das Furnas from the interior of the earth, where it has been cooking for 6 hours. After lunch, visit the caldera of the parish and thermal bath in Poça da Dona Beija (entrance not included). Return to Ponta Delgada is done by the south coast, with a stop at Vila Franca do Campo, the first capital of the island of São Miguel.
