Furnas Mountain Bike tour

It is a circuit for people who want to know the caldera where the volcano that gave rise to the Furnas lagoon is located. The route is circular and begins in the area of the boilers, then biking along the dirt road that surrounds the lagoon. The highest point of this tour is located in the Pico dos Milhos area, in the middle of the circuit. The descent is by secondary paths leading to the parish, where you can also observe phenomena of secondary volcanism. The paths to be taken are in good condition, and the climbs are easy to progress.
Minimum equipment required:
Suitable footwear, comfortable clothing, light jacket, t-shirt/extra sweater, water, food booster, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and backpack
Recommended equipment:
Mountain bike gloves, hydration bag, sneakers and fitting pedals.
